As an element of the mission to maintain a privacy-first, easy-to-use web analytics tool, the latest release of Snoobi Analytics adds several new functions and improvements.
Below is a short list of additions to the Snoobi Analytics functionality.
Highlight feature: Cookiebot™-specific tracking code
This automates Snoobi's cookie setting to on/off based on the visitor response in Cookiebot. Also adds a property to the session to indicate cookie usage; and adds Cookiebot to the bot-list to exclude visits by the Cookiebot tool that regularly checks the website.
Important because: Creates full transparency on cookie usage and adds detailed information for the website owner.

Highlight feature: Capture full referrer details, show own site referrer information
This shows metrics that are unavailable in most other analytics tools. It also it removes the many visits reported as having an 'unknown' or 'direct' traffic source.
This new metric adds information on users who keep browser tabs open beyond the standard session and when traffic arrives from related own domains covered under the same Snoobi account.
Important because: Greatly improves transparency on what source brings traffic to a website, and also reduces the 'guesswork' when showing full session route.
